Blackline Cutting and Serving Boards

Solid oak wood cutting and serving boards from Blackcreek Mercantile. The unique black finish of Blackcreek's Blackline Collection is achieved through a natural reactive process using the inherent tannic properties found within white oak. The result is a deep, durable, 100% food-safe dye whose source is rooted in the wood itself. 

Variation in color is to be expected with this natural process. Dye is designed to wear over time for a rich patina that will be unique to the object and how it is being used.

Care Instructions: Wash with soap and hot water before initial use and after each use. Avoid use of chemicals and acidic foods such as lemons, limes or berries.

If wood is dry or finish appears dull, maintain with regular applications of Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co.’s Cutting Board Oil. Keep away from open flame and heat.
